I met Alan when I moved from HPCali to HPColsprings. A great guy once you get to know him. He taught me ux stuff as i was growing up in the HP/Agilent IT world. I will surely miss him. Alan and his family will be in my prayers.

I met Alan in October of 1991 when I moved to Colorado, working for HP. I enjoyed his dry sense of humor and remember how much he loved his family. It was always great when you could get a light hearted chuckle out of him.

I met Alan in 1995 for the first time when I joined the HP IT group. I learned a good deal about IT but more importantly a good deal about dealing with people. He will be missed, is missed already.

"The good die young" the saying goes. That is certainly the case with Alan whom I knew, respected, and worked with for 15 years at HP/Agilent. My heart is heavy with this news and my prayers are with Alan and his family.

I met Alan in 1991, as a part of the HP IT group in Col. Springs. I was a transplant from Chicago and I remember his open accepting style. I also remember how smart Alan was...I was typically in awe. Alan touched alot of people and he will certainly be missed but his spirit will live on.

I was shocked to hear of Alan's passing when the word made it to the HP folks that all knew Alan. Alan was one of the first HP people I got to know when I moved to Colorado in 1992 from California to work at the Garden of the Gods site. He and I had the best conversations about all kinds of things and he will be truly, truly missed. Lossing Alan is a tragedy for this world. He was a hero in my eyes when it came to the adoption and fostering of so many children. He really made a difference and I loved him for that. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this time!
