Albert Armstrong Obituary

Albert Alan Armstrong, 79, of Colorado Springs, passed away in his home on June 21, 2015. Al is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Carol, his devoted children John and Rhonda with son-in-law Jesse, grandchildren Arielle with husband Josh, Alec, Kristy, Katie, and his brother Jack Armstrong of Centennial, Colorado.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held July 1, 2015 10:00am, at Springs Community Church, 7290 Lexington Drive, Colorado Springs, 80918.

Al was a 2nd generation Colorado native. He grew up in Ault, Colorado with parents Blake and Hannah Armstrong, and brothers Gilbert and Jack. (A sister, Joann, was deceased prior to his birth.)

After Al's graduation from Colorado State University in 1956 with degrees in Accounting and Economics, he began a 30 year career with IBM in Administration and Marketing. Al developed many lifelong relationships while working at IBM, and he truly treasured each one.

Al was an avid Denver Broncos fan and has had season tickets since 1974. He was passionate about golf and enjoyed the game with his family throughout his life.
