Thanks for everything, Buddy. I had been in the Audio business for over 25yrs when you hired me, and you taught me something new every day. The three years we worked together, I shall cherish forever. I will never forget "Make sound, keep making sound, make sound good". The mantra of a hard working genius. I shall see you again my old friend. I'll bring the Sambuca!

My memories working with Albert go back 36-years to 1974 when we worked together, Albert as my boss, at Gould Marketing in the days of Brian, Dick and many others of ‘The Boys’.
I too was greatly influenced by Albert and fondly remember his countless tutorials on electronics that were instructive, personal and very special. While selectively tuning out the rest of the world, Albert would patiently explain things to me with live circuits, scopes, generators and meters, not until I said, ‘Yes, I understood.’ – but until he could ‘see’ the ‘light’ go on!
That is the Albert I shall always remember, talk about – and miss…
My sincerest condolences to the Leccese family.

Albert although you were older than me and lived further away, you've had a very big impact in my life. The manner in which you excelled in your industry, built a successful business, made yourself available to others to teach them while keeping family and friends and fun, front and center, has been a huge inspiration for me as a first cousin. You, Mario and Joe set the path for Marco, Robert and I to follow in your huge footsteps. I will miss you dearly. My condolences to Denise, Paul, Steven, Joe, Mario and Zio Plino.

I'd like to express my sympathies to Albert's family, and especially to Mario, whom, in addition to Albert, it has been my pleasure to know for many years. Albert and I first met in Montreal on a snowy day in 1977, in the course of setting up a concert that was, ultimately, canceled due to the weather. That gave us a little time to talk and get to know one another. Albert and I really hit it off right away, and enjoyed talking about our individual areas of interest and our goals. Over the ensuing years, I worked even closer with Albert on numerous projects and found myself beside him in many international venues. I was so happy for him of the success of his company and impressed by his wide-reaching knowledge of his craft. But, even more, I admired the human side of him--so devoted to his family and friends, despite a demanding professional schedule. Albert, I'll miss our conversations and collaborations. You left us all too soon. Peace.

Albert Leccese... Albert would jump and rise to the occasion. As Bobby Thrasher put it " Smarter than NASA!"
I will miss Albert, he was like an older brother to me. I am so honored having knowing Albert and the privilege of just being associated with him makes me all the better as an individual. I have so many memories of my times with Albert, it makes me cry every time I think of him.

Albert and I grew up together; his father and mother and my mother and father came to Canada as immigrants from the old country in the early 50's. In those days, it was not uncommon for immigrant families to live together, and we were no exception. While we grew up, first on St.Timothy Street, and then Rosemont and Iberville Streets in Montreal, Joe, Rita and Mario came along. We were all more than cousins - we were brothers and sister. We did everything together. I can remember playing hockey in the back alleys of Iberville Street and 6th Avenue; building snow fortresses on 6th Avenue; ducking in and out of the many bus depots along Mount Royal Street making our way to St.Dominics grade school; I can remember the battles we fought as kids against other kids who were trying to hurt us because we were Italian; I remember each family Christmas spent together; I remember our grade school years; I remember boy scouts, camping, judo, the 2nd Avenue GANG, eating hot dogs at Chez Matante and the Montreal Pool Room, our mothers cooking huge italian dinners for any and all occasions; I remember listening to the White Album for the first time in Albert's basement; I remember us in Rosemont, in the dead of winter, with our tiny shovels, standing side by side, trying to shovel a path through the snow ...
Our paths diverged after high school, these things happen. We both traveled a lot for our work, but never lost touch. We saw Albert last about 2 years ago during a fly fishing road trip that took us from the Bay Area to Colorado. It was a great weekend - we talked, ate, drank some limoncello, heard Steven play, looked at pictures, drank more limoncello. One could not ask for more in our reunion.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Our deepest and sincere condolence to Denise, Steven, Paul, Mario, Jodi, PIinio and the rest of the family.
I had only known Albert a little over 2 years, but you know, it doesn't take many years to know a great man. I've heard numerous great and funny stories of him and past employees and wish that I had been given the opportunity to be a part of those great moments. Some people feel awkward to sit around with the "big boss", but with Albert, there was never a moment of uneasy feeling. He was a very kind, gentle and big-hearted man. Even through his "hard days" after treatments, he still had a great sense of humor of the disease that he was having to deal with. He will surely be missed by a great deal of friends, families and especially, his family at Audio Analysts.
With much love and prayers,
Eddie & Dee Mafnas and Family
