Albert Yankowsky Obituary

Albert J. Yankowsky, age 73, passed away on November 30, 2014. He was a resident of Colorado Springs for 38 years and was formerly a resident of St. Louis, Missouri. He was a sheet metal worker and also served in the United States Army.

Albert was born on December 19, 1940 to Adolph J. Yankowsky and Clara H. (Skizenski) Yankowsky in Shenandoah, Pennsylvania. On October 26, 1962 he married Marjorie A. Meyer in St. Louis, Missouri.

He is survived by his children: Allen, Kathy, and Paul; his siblings: Dolores, JoAnn, and Mike; 5 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie on January 5, 1994.

A visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at Shrine of Remembrance Funeral Home. A funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 4, 2014 at Shrine of Remembrance "America the Beautiful" Chapel. Inurnment will take place at the Shrine of Remembrance Mausoleum, Ethel Merman Columbarium.
