Each and every day of my life I will remember my uncle. Al was a great example of what "The Best" is in a human being. I have comfort in knowing that he is and will forever remain in our hearts and memories.

From when Al first learned of his illness, he told me "dont worry, everything is going to be O.K." I wanted so much to believe that no harm would ever come to him. He was so protective of me & my sister and didn't want us to feel any pain or sorrow as he always did & I will always be grateful. Thank you for being such a wonderful man & father. I am going to miss you very much.

Tiger, tiger burning bright in the forests of the night, what immortal hand or eye has formed thy fearful symmetry? This poem reminds me of my brother Al. He was a unique human being that God created in a special way. Like the tiger, Al was a fierce believer in what is right and wrong. He always tried to learn about things through reading and clear up those things that were questionable in life. Like the tiger, he burned bright in all of our hearts and could light up a room with his sense of humor. I can still feel the warmth of that light when I think of him. It surrounds me and gives me peace. I also know that Al's light is shinning down on us now.

My Dad, Al, gave our family so many opportunities in life and we will forever be grateful. He opened up his heart to Devin and Aidan and was such a wonderful grandfather. He also established a strong bond with Tom that was very special. We will all remember his fondly and his kind heart will never be forgotten.

Al was our brother and friend. We will miss him terribly. He will always be a song in our hearts.

I would see Al at the UPS Store several times a week. Even though I have only been in Colorado Springs a few years, Al was one of the nicest and most caring individuals I have met thus far in this entire state. I was very sad to hear of his passing. He will be missed.

I loved him dearly, with all his many jokes he was a wonderful uncle to me and i will always treasure the moments that i spent with him.

I will remember Al as an honorable man who took pride in himself and loved his family. I will really miss him . . . .

Al, You have always lit up the room with your humor and laughs I will miss you greatly and will miss all the wonderful talks that we shared , you were a great father and husband and you will be greatly missed.

Dearest Al, May God bless your heart and soul and Patty's too. Your thoughts and ways will continue to be an example that enriches our lives and spirits. Vaya con Dios, mi amigo!

We will never lose Al and his love. He will continue to participate in so many ways in our life and will leave an indelible imprint in our memories.

Don and I find comfort in knowing that we have been blessed for having him in our lives and having shared his love.

My dearest Al will never be forgotten. He was the love of my life. The pain is deep in my loss. I am thankful for our family and friends who cared so much for him.

Al will be dearly missed by his spouse, Pat, his family, his former Army colleagues, and his many friends.

However, his good humor in the face of adversity, and easy smile no matter what will always be remembered.
