Alfonso Martinez Obituary

Alfonso A. Martinez, 72, went before the Lord on January 11, 2009. He was preceded in death by his parents, Felecita and Maximo B. Martinez; and sister, Gloria. Al is survived by his ex-wife, Cecelia Martinez; son, Vince (Jackie) Martinez of Pueblo; daughters, Valerie Martinez of Colorado Springs and Audrie (Chris) Wilson of Austin, Texas; grandchildren, Ragina (Tony) Pantoja, Michael, Jonathan Martinez all of Pueblo, Elizabeth and Victoria Martinez of Denver; great grandchildren, Avrianna and Anjelina Pantoja; brothers, Maximo, Wilford, Debari, Jimmy, David, Charles, Jesse and Seymore; and sister, Ernastine. Al was a decorated Vietnam Veteran receiving a Purple Heart, Bronze Star and a Silver Star. He will be sadly missed by the above mentioned as well as many others. Viewing, 12 to 2p.m.,Thursday, Romero Chapel. Funeral Mass 4p.m., Thursday, St. Pius X. Family and friends will be received at the Church Hall following service. Dad You would call me several times a day. If you were close you would be at my house. Helping me talking with me being with my family.
