I am saddened to hear of Alice's death. I knew she had died, but had never seen the obituary until today. She was my godmother and she and Paul stood up with my parents when they got married. My mom would always tell me wonderful stories about Alice! I am so glad to hear she had a wonderful and fulfilling life.

What an example of Christian faith our great Aunt Alice displayed as long as we can remember! She loved the Lord and her church more than life itself. She was generous to a fault and loved her family deeply.
She loved life and was eager to try anything new. One of our favorite stories about her was that she learned to ice skate at age 65!
She was so proud of her career at the Academy and whenever we visited, she would take us to visit her old haunts.
How appropriate she went to be with her Heavenly Father this Thanksgiving! We know He received her with joy and thanksgiving, and we thank Him for her life of service and love.

I remember the compassion Aunt Alice showed my mother-in-law. She and Uncle Paul were so enjoyable. Christmas came early for Aunt Alice this year!

I remember Alice so well from the years I worked at a nursing home where she was a resident. What a delightful lady! Alice was spirited, strong-willed, kind, friendly, and a real lady through and through. She insisted on going to church every week, even if she was feeling very ill. I will always remember her bright eyes and gracious smile. God bless you, Alice!

It's hard to believe Alice was 97! She surely loved life and the Lord of life. I tried to contact her several times and lost touch with her. I am wondering where she lived in her last years and where she was when her spirit went to be with the Lord. If anyone cares to contact me, I am leaving my address in this guest book registration.
