Not a day goes by that I don´t think about you. You were and will always be my best friend. Thank you for the memories. Gone too soon. I will always love you. Thank you for being there. I just wish I could have been there for you.

Still can't believe your not with us all any longer. You are truly missed, always great to talk to you in High School and you were always so nice to everyone. Seeing all the kind posts people have left about you and from your students goes to show you were still touching many people's lives.

You are truly missed....

I went to visit you today. It's been 6 years, but it seems like much longer since I've seen your smile or heard your great advice. I wish you were around to see all the great things that I've accomplished and am working toward. I know you would be proud. You're sorely missed, my friend.

I wish I could show you my art now. Glynnis and I visited you at the cemetery back in 2015 before I moved out to California. I left you a drawing, but I've gotten better since then. I did all of Inktober last year. You used to really like my ink drawings and my crosshatching--I had never done that medium before you showed me in class. I think you'd really like these pictures.

ms Robertson was my high school art teacher during my whole high school, when I heard this tragic story I was very upset yet I could not believe this. she always helped me be a better drawer and understood my drawings, she expanded my abilities I thought I oould not accomplish. she was always having fun with us in class, I enjoyed every moment I had with her. I will truly miss you ms Robertson.

Alicia I am one of the few who had the honor of actually growing up with you in High School in Italy. I remember you as being bubbly and happy! Its very unfortunate that I too actually was living in Colorado Springs until last year and we never crossed paths.You will be dearly missed by all of the Saints classmates and all of whom you have touched.

Alicia you were an amazing colleague. As a fellow Art Teacher within D49, I knew my students were in good hands as they journeyed through art at the high school level. Many advanced their levels due to your teachings. I am sad at the new of your passing, and know heaven is receiving an artistic angle with a loving heart. I will miss you, your dry and sarcastic humor where we both would giggle and the silliest of events!!! You and your family are in my prayers

Ms. Robertson was my first art teacher in high school and most definitely the toughest one. But now I see why you were so hard on me or any other student. Being tough on us was your way of bringing out the best in us. Just when I would think that I was done with a project you would be right there giving me some tips on how to make it better everytime. Thank you for everything that you taught me. It's still a little weird to think that you're really gone. Rest In Peace Ms. Robertson. You will be extremely missed by your students, family, and friends.

I've been shocked about Ms. Alicia Robertson's passing since I first found out via email this week. My daughter Amanda who is a senior at Sand Creek high school this year already has art skill when she was about two or three years old, so she decided to take painting class that this great teacher Alicia helped her develop more skills in during her first year of high school. Amanda was going to take Art I in Alicia's class this year, but Alicia is already gone with the Lord. Even though I don't really remember meeting Alicia before, I'm glad she was Amanda's art teacher. I'm sure that Amanda is going to miss her, and our prayers/thoughts are with Alicia and the rest of her family.

To the family; There is a line from a poem I think of often when I remember those who are gone. "i carry your heart(i carry it in my heart)". Thank you so much for Alicia, she was breathtaking in so many ways.

My heart aches for the loss your family and most of all your son are experiencing. I look up to you and often think of you. You were a great teacher and an even greater friend and mentor. You helped me to find myself and see that being different is okay. Your willingness to believe in my dreams even more than I did meant more to me than I can put into words. I hope wherever you are you have gained peace and understanding.

This bright summer is darkened by the loss of such an original colleague and passionate teacher. Ms. Robertson's students will miss her and so will all of the faculty and staff at Sand Creek High School. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family in their time of grief.

I am very saddened at your loss. As a fellow faculty member (Saundra Taylor) with Alicia, she gave me many ideas for art projects that I wanted to do for others as gifts. I wanted the projects to look professional and many times she helped me to achieve an expert look on the projects. Otherwise, the projects would have looked like "who thought of this?" She was a wonderful art educator. She will be missed!

Thank you for being such a great teacher. I haven't been sure what to do with the art degree I've been pursuing, but now more than ever I think I will finish it in Art Education. Rest in Peace Ms. Robertson. I love you.

Mrs. Robertson, your class was impossible, but I passed because you knew I could do it. You pushed me to work harder and get better at art, and I'll never stop trying. You made our art department into more of a close-knit community than just a class. You genuinely cared about your students, and the Sand Creek community will never forget the impact you've made. Alicia adored and loved her son so much. He was her world. Our hearts are filled with grief for her son and her loving parents, Dan and Donna, and the rest of her family.

She was an amazing teacher and had such a passion for her art and her students. She was the one who believed in me and my artwork when nobody else would. Because of her, I have the passion and the skills I need to continue in my craft. In all the memories I have of her, she's smiling and laughing. She was a bright light in this world that will be carried on through all who knew her. She will be dearly missed.

Alicia, my heart is full of sadness. I will never forget your contagious smile and witty sense of humor. We were friends in Italy and even though that was many years ago I thought of you often. I won't forget the multiple times you sent me to the principals office, for swan diving over desks and being a pain in the butt in your class. But most of all, I won't forget the difference you made in influencing me to continue my education through college and career as a teacher.

Alicia was my art teacher in high school and good friend after. She had a heart for her students, their art, and made her class a comfortable open place to be. She always knew how to make her students feel special and important. I respected her and looked up to her greatly. It breaks my heart to see this news. My prayers go out to her sweet son and family she left behind.

I had the privilege and pleasure to work with Alicia as an administrator and her evaluator at SCHS. She was an exemplar and effective teacher and knew her craft well. She had such creativity and rigor in her expectations from students and they rose to the level she wanted them to be at and supported them along their journey. She inspired so many students and allowed their own individuality to shine through. Her rapport and professionalism with students and colleagues was evident everyday.
My son, who is a senior this fall, had her for his art teacher and he so enjoyed the class and adored her as the instructor.
Alicia, the world was never meant for one as beautiful as you! You will be missed and our thoughts and prayers are with your family, but especially for your adorable son. You will never be forgotten and your light will shine on through the lives you have made a difference with and in their hearts.

Alicia was my student in Art at Aviano High School. She was all you could ask for in a student; creative, talented,and hard working.I feel great sadness at her passing, and yet I can see by what her students have written what a wonderful teacher she was. I am not surprised.
