Alison Bump Obituary

To the Colb family,
Ali was one of my best childhood friends and I will always keep close all the fun we had and the laughter that we shared growing up together. Mari I will always remember you taking me everywhere with you and Ali and all the fun times and laughs we shared. Ali's laughter was contagious and I will forever remember the beautiful girl she was, and that electric smile that would light up a room. My prayers and heart go out to the Kolb family and my deepest regrets to her children and husband.

I wish I had the words to adequately convey to you the love I feel for Ali and the sorrow I feel for all of you during this hard time. I was fortunate enough to spend a couple of weeks with Ali earlier this year (April 2013) in AZ. She was someone with whom I instantly connected. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this time of mourning. And to my dear Ali... You are still my sunshine and you will forever be missed.

You are not alone. I have such great memories of you Ali. In your memory Horses Healing Hearts will name a rescue horse Ali. I hope Ali the rescue horse will help others heal like they have healed me and many others.

I just learned of Ali's sudden death and am so saddened by your loss.
Losing a step son myself (Edward at 36) I know the pain. There will always be a hole in your heart and the pain is always there.

Seeking good bereavement counseling is an important way to coupe with your loss and allow you to cherish the good times and fond memories.

I will keep the Kolb family in my prayers.

I now live in Gulf Shores, Alabama and recall with fondness the friends I met at Castlewood. The Kolb's are always at the top of my list

I am so sorry for your loss. I have such fond memories of her from high school, particularly running track. She will be missed dearly.

She had a joyful spirit and a beautiful smile with a heart to match. Ali was a spark! She was funny and exciting, I know she is running with the angels and challenging them! God rest her soul and may you find peace in these dark days.

I am so sorry. "Miss Alison" was my 14 year old daughter's pre-school teacher at Fountain Head Montessori. My thoughts are with you and her beautiful children.

My husband Al and I are deeply saddened to hear of Ali's passing. We met Ali when my oldest daughter and Sarah were in elementary school together. Ali had a big heart and always had a hug, smile, and kind words for us. We are so blessed to have known her. She will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family.

Mari, Chuck and Brandon, I don't have the words to express how heavy my heart is right now. I always felt a special connection to Ali; partly due to our shared name and mostly because she has such a sensitive, beautiful soul. She took great care of the boys when they were little. They loved her dearly. I'm so glad I had the opportunity to introduce her to my Ali. Know that we are all sending you love and light. Bon, Steve, Zach, Ry and Ali.
