Allan Pierre Obituary

Allan Pierre was born in Charenton, LA to Mr. Russell Pierre and Mrs. Eva Pierre on March 10th, 1935. He has a sister, Loretta Wyndon and two brothers, Dallas Pierre and Russell Jr. Pierre. In high school Allan was in the math club, chess club, played varsity football, was on the debate team, science, club and just about everything he could get into. He was virtually on just about every page in his high school year book. When Allan joined the Army he served in Vietnam, Korea and was stationed throughout the world. While on active duty in the Chemical Corps, Allan received the Vietnam Cross of Gallantry, Vietnam Campaign Medal of Honor, Vietnam Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal and numerous other distinguished awards. He achieved the rank of Lt. Col upon retirement. In 1978, Allan and wife, JoAnn Pierre, started the Stage II Discotheque, the hottest night club in Colorado Springs. It was his passion to own his own club and was often seen cutting the rug with his signature dance moves. Eventually, Allan had acquitted his own electronics shop, "Hancock TV" and repair. He took pride in his work and enjoyed fixing anything electronic. Throughout his life Allan's passions included a love of music, electronic/stereo, NBA basketball and he was a champion Bid Whist player. Allan leaves behind a daughter, Penny, son Mike, grandson Steve and granddaughter Leia as well as very many family and good friends. He will always live forever in our hearts!

LTC Pierre was my boss at Command Chemical when iI was stationed at Ft Carson in the late 70's. Always fair, always honest. He was a true professional. He led by example. Later, after leaving the service & returning to Colorado Springs, my husband found him by chance at his electronic shop on North Hancock. He repaired our TV. As a Realtor, when clients new to town needed a repair, I referred them to him. I will always remember Col. Pierre as patient, honest, and professional
