Allen Strickland Obituary

Glenn was born in Norfolk, VA, son of Randolph and Grace (Womble) Strickland. He was raised in Norfolk, VA and Bailey, NC.

Glenn served two tours in Vietnam and one in Desert Storm. He proudly served over 20 years in the U.S. Army. After retiring, he continued working as a carpenter and then a semi-truck driver.

Glenn is survived by his wife, Janet; daughter and son-in-law, Beverly and Samuel Evans; son, Adam Strickland; sister and brother-in-law, Bonnie and Danny Driver; niece, Amy Driver.

The Funeral Service is scheduled for Friday, February 3, 2017 at 2:00 p.m at Swan-Law Funeral Directors.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to any veterans organizations or to a charity of your choice.
