Allison Patch Obituary

Allison Jean Patch, 56, of Colorado Springs went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, June 8, 2005. She was born July 13, 1948 to Albert C. and Dorothy M. (Mounts) Flowers in Independence, MO. She and her husband, Ray, moved to Colorado Springs in 1995  from Leawood, KS  where they lived 25 years with their two children. Allison and Ray have enjoyed 35 wonderful years together walking hand in hand as husband and wife. Her main passion was serving  her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, with her God-given talents. Her contagious out-going personality brought great comfort, be it a stranger, a friend or a child. She loved to use her giftedness whether it be singing hymns of praise, painting a beautiful picture, tending to her flowers, working on the computer, or given encouraging words of hope. Allison was a founding member of Christ Church of Colorado Springs. Allison Patch is survived by her husband, Ray; daughter, Alana R. Bortz and husband, Troy Bortz; and son, Jason A. Patch and his fiancé, Natasha van der Wall of Sydney, Australia; as well as four grandchildren: Marissa Ellen Bortz, Haylea Brynn Bortz, Toby Alexander Bortz and Joelle Eryn Bortz. She is survived by one brother, David Franklin Flowers of Kansas City, MO. Allison's memorial service is Tuesday, June 14, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at the Ivywild Community Church, 1626 S. Tejon, Colorado Springs, CO. 80906 and arrangements were entrusted to Blunt Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, family requests memorials to  the Christ Church Building Fund, 635 Southpointe Suite #200 Colorado Springs, CO 80906.

Ray, Alana and Jason, you are in our thoughts and prayers today as we remember wonderful times with you and Allison in Sunday School class, at Camino weekends and celebrating family events.
