It was my privilege and joy to have known Alma since 1953 when her daughter, Carol, and I became best friends. Being an only child, I was amazed at how she was able to preside over the "Rowan Roost" with her calm, loving manner. She was a gracious lady with a sparkling laugh. I am confident that she is now reunited with her husband and their daughter Linda.
