Your parents were always Uncle Al and Aunt Rosaline to me and will always hold a special place in my heart. When we lived in Germany it seems as though we all were together and going on some sort of adventure every weekend. Because of Uncle Als incredible creative baking skills he got me my first Barbie back in 1960 when he baked a cake for my moms birthday that when Barbie was stuck in the middle of it and then the cake was decorated it looked like a Barbie gown. I fondly remember when they very graciously offered to let us stay with you in New Mexico until our place was ready to move into, those were some of the happiest memories I have. Well this has gone on much too long and so I close with my sympathy to everyone for Uncle Als passing. He will always be remembered with great love and affection. Alva was my favorite uncle, even though we had been out of touch since 1979. I was so glad he looked me up a couple of years ago and we had a nice chat. My thoughts and prayers are with all my cousins at this time.
