Alvin Robinson Obituary

Our Father has called Alvin T. Robinson to Heaven. Let us rejoice in the name of the Lord as he is laid to rest.

Alvin Taylor Robinson (AKA: Alvin T., Robby & Sweet Rob) was born on March 2, 1935 in Shreveport, Louisiana. Alvin was the youngest of 4 siblings born to the union of Samuel and Laura Bee Taylor-Robinson. Alvin graduated from Booker T. Washington High School in 1953. Alvin joined the United States Air Force in 1958 and his Primary Specialty job Title was Morse Systems Operator and Administration Superintendent. Alvin received Multiple Military decorations, medals, badges, ribbons, awards and citations for his scholarly work.

Alvin was a Christian man who was committed to his faith. He was a Deacon and a lifetime member of St. John's Baptist Church in Colorado Springs.

Alvin was our Hero!

Alvin was a very loving man to his wife and three children who he demonstrated that they meant the world to him. He was an exemplary role model to his 6 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Alvin went above and beyond for all of those who knew him. He loved being around family and friends because to him they are both the same.

Alvin is survived by his Wife Marie, 3 children Darryl, Yolanda and Derek, sister, grandchildren, great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

The pulse of the City will never be the same without Alvin T. Robinson

Visitation will be Thursday, March 24 from 4pm to 7pm at Angelus Chapel at 1104 S. Circle Drive. The Funeral service will be Friday, March 25 at 9am at Angelus Chapel and interment to follow at Fort Logan National Cemetery immediately afterward.
