Elizabeth,
I only met Al, my cousin, once at your lovely A-frame home in Colorado Springs in 1973. But our connections were several. He was, at one time, close to my Father and Mother, Leo and Bertha Ross.
Al and I, although we didn't know it at the time, served at Lakenheath RAF and at Walker AFB in New Mexico at the same time.
I have thought of him often over the years although we only met once. I am proud of his service to our country and am sorry that he has passed.
Love from my wife Nancy, our sons David, Gregory and John, and me.

Dear Ross family, my sympathy and prayers to you at the passing of Al Ross. I remember Mr. Ross warmly as my Boy Scout Scoutmaster some 30 years ago. He was well loved by all of us boys with his strong leadership and easy sense of humor. I was fortunate to get to say hello to him again this last fall at Holy Apostles for a scout reunion dinner, and was glad to see his character undiminished. Mr. Ross was a positive influence on so many of us, and is well remembered for his time invested. Regards and Respect, Ray Smalley

Elizabeth, Time did not take the sparkle out of Al's eyes! He was a fine man, human & neighbor, & we're sorry to hear of his passing. We received the info courtesy of Lanelle & Jerry, Jr. We'll put Al, & you, into our prayers--hope you find help coping with your loss. Sixty-eight years is a very long & honorable time!

Our dear neighbor Al will be greatly missed for his humor and enthusiasm for the big and small things in life. He was a man who was young for his years and consequently made us feel youthful too. He will be missed, admired and always remembered. The Millers
