Alyn Kerry Furlong passed away peacefully at his home in Colorado Springs, CO with his children by his side on November 9, 2025 following a long illness. Born August 19, 1949 in Chicago, IL, Alyn relocated to Colorado in 1983. He discovered a place where he truly felt at home. He raised his family in the foothills of the Front Range where he also made some amazing friends who became his family during his life.
Alyn was preceded in death by his parents Bob and Moina Furlong, brother Richard, sisters Leslee and Vera, and cousin Danial. He is survived by his children Judith, Tegan (Joshua), Neal, and Terence (Jenna); grandchildren Dallas (Shay), Kobi, Jessica, Braden, David, Mason, and Penelope; and great-granddaughter Ariel; brother Bill; stepmother Rebecca; siblings-in-law, nieces, nephews, their spouses and children; former spouses; as well as many friends whom he considered family.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 12, 2025 at First Presbyterian Church, 219 E Bijou St, Colorado Springs at 10am followed by a Committal Service with military honors at 12pm at Pikes Peak National Cemetery, 10545 Drennan Road, Colorado Springs, CO.
