Alyssa Richardson Obituary

Alyssa Racquel
Richardson
March 25, 1994
April 16, 2024

She was born in Colorado Springs, CO and had just turned 30. She is survived by her "fur babies"- Charlie and Diamond, Dad-Arzy Richardson(Shai Richardson), mom-Lorene Richardson (John Garvey), "sissy"-Melanie Zerr (Mikey Zerr), grandparents-Wayne Morley and Sherry Narders Morley Puckett-her aunts and uncles-Teresa Richardson, Linda Pendergrass (Brian Pendergrass), David Richardson, Renee Dyer (Mark Dyer) Mike Morley. Arika Lambrecht (Richard Morrow Sr), Regina Taylor (Dan Taylor), nephews and niece-Bryan Zerr (Kaitlynn Zerr) and Braydon Zerr, cousins-Sabrina Michaels (Patrick Michaels), Starla Mourn (Austin Mourn) Ricky Morrow Jr, Dakota Michaels, Noah Michaels, and many more cousins, Godmother-Mary Velasquez and family, best friend-Cat Price and NAMI family, Texas family, and many other friends. She is preceded in death by grandparents-Arzy Richardson Jr., and Elizabeth Richardson, Grover Lambrecht and Virginia Lambrecht, aunt-Caroline Prater and uncle Chuck Puckett. Alyssa's relationship with GOD was private, between her and HIM.
Alyssa "had the most genuine heart and loved and cared so much, she was so passionate about her family and fur babies." She has a beautiful soul and heart, the biggest you could imagine. Always wanting to help others! She had a kindness that was epic, her smile was radiant, her laugh was infectious/contagious, but it could not compare to the size of her heart. Although she faced struggles, she looked at her breakthroughs as opportunities to help others. A big part of her heart was helping the elderly and people with special needs. We know her earthly journey is over, but we will always treasure her memory and that smile and infectious laugh. Her hobbies are collecting quartz minerals (gemstones)-her favorite is Amethyst, building, animals, work, hiking, shoes, and her newest hobby was plants. Her livelihood was contruction. Inurnment service 17th of May 2024 at 2pm at St. Mary's Cathedral, (22 West Kiowa St. 80903). The Celebration of Life 19th of May 2024 at 3-6pm at Discovery Church of Colorado (4304 Austin Bluffs Pkwy 80918) Flowers & gifts may be sent or brought to Discovery Church of Colorado.

Good morning honey, it´s been 3 weeks today! I still can´t believe it! My heart is shattered! I miss you so! I miss ur smile, ur laugh, ur big heart, ur presence...I miss everything about you! When new drinks would come out in Starbucks or Dutch Brothers, I would send them to you! Today Starbucks released a new drink. Idk if u would like it, but maybe? I wish we would have been able to dry the new one at Dutch before 3 weeks ago. This heartache is...idk...
I wish I could tx u...I´m lost for words right now!
We met Emily this past weekend, she´s so sweet! She told us how "warming n welcoming" u were at NAMI. How it didn´t matter who u talked to, u made them feel like u had been their friend for a while. That´s u honey, such a big heart! So, willing to help others! I love you so much n miss you so much honey!

Alyssa was a very special person. She was so full of life! It´s very hard to accept that her special, unique light has gone out. She was spontaneous, fun loving and full of joy... in spite of the pain that she carried inside. She helped so many of us. She probably didn´t know what a difference she made. Alyssa is someone that once you get to know her, you never forget her. She had a kindness and caring that was genuine and faithful. We are not likely to see one like her pass this way again. What a loss! Prayers for her family, her close friends and her dear mother.
