Andrea Stiles Obituary

Andrea Michelle Stiles, age 34, passed away in her sleep on Friday Morning, April 22, 2016 in Colorado Springs. The exact cause has yet to be determined.

She was born in St. Paul, Minnesota on May 4, 1981 to Mark Sension and Deborah Holderbaum, the first of their two children.

She graduated from Nikola Tesla EOP High School in Colorado Springs, and remained a resident of Colorado Springs the rest of her life, where she was a mother and homemaker, working occasionally as a companion and personal assistant to the elderly. Some of her clients became her dear friends. She was an artist at heart and was last employed as a florist at Island Orchids in Colorado City, where she enjoyed preparing floral arrangements that were noted for their beauty.

Nothing gave her more pleasure than the time she spent going on adventures and making art with her children. She was recently engaged to be married and was looking forward to purchasing a home with her fiancé.

She is survived by her children: Dakota Lee Stiles (22) his wife, Janae; Cyrillean Jacob Stiles (16), Saffron Michelle Stiles (12), and Isabella Elise Stiles (10), and their father, her friend and former spouse, Jeremy Stiles, all of Colorado Springs; her mother and stepfather, Deborah Lynne and Robert Holderbaum of Syracuse, Indiana; Her father and his husband, Mark Stephen Sension and William Trevizo of Oakland, CA; her sister, Hilary Grace Sension of Syracuse, Indiana; her grandparents, Gordon and Sharon Sension, of Belleville, Illinois; her grandson, Elijah Stiles; and her fiancé, Jeremy Beaulieu; as well as many aunts uncles and cousins living around the world.

A memorial for Andrea will be held at All Souls Church 730 North Tejon Street in Colorado Springs, CO 80903, Thursday, April 28 at 7:00 pm with a reception to follow. You may arrive as early as 6:00, for a time of quiet contemplation with her friends and family. Everyone who knew her is welcome.
