Andie touched my life as she did many others, with kindness & laughter which all seem to come so naturally. Andie could always help you to see the positive side of things, and was always there for you... she knew I was scared to drive to work on the snow, so she would call to say "The roads are bad, I'll be there to pick you up" Remember kids? That's when I use to talk funny (really English)this is just a small example of how Andie cared x
We have all lost someone very dear, and have also been blessed to have shared her love, kindness & laughter, priceless.......
lots of love & prayers ~Lucia
God Bless & Good Night Andie, "luv ya mate" CheChe x

I have pictures of Andie everywhere - but I have one here at my desk that I see everyday - and everyday I still can't believe she's gone. It's been a year now and I still "see" her at the grocery store, or driving in traffic. I find myself starting to make my way over when I realize it's not really her. How can she really be gone? She's not really though is she. I know she lives on in each one of us, especially in Brandon and Kara. You both possess so many of your mom's qualities and I see so much of her in each of you. She touched so many lives that there is no way she will ever truly be gone. We will keep her with us always. I do miss you Andie...one of the few people who really understood me! You were my ray of sunshine on a cloudy day and always an inspiration. Do me a favor and save me a spot up there! ;) I'll always love you sis! - TaTa

It's been a year since the memorial service. A very LONG year.
I don't think I'll ever stop having that feeling of wanting to pick up the phone and realizing she's not there anymore... hopefully will never forget the sound of her laughter, or the reminders in my head of what she would have said to me in any given situation.
The only way I can look at it is that she's on vacation... someplace too far away to call home from... and it's beautiful, sunny, warm, and the sand is soft and white, the palm trees tall and green, water clear and bright blue.
She's saving my spot right beside her... and we'll have so much to catch up on when I get there!
Forever in our hearts -
Suz

I guess the simplest is the best: I can't remember a time when there wasn't the four of us girls, Suz, Andie, Tammi, and myself. Whenever we were able to get together for a time in the summer it was always awsome! As we grew older and got families of our own the times together grew farther apart but the anticiipation of getting to spend time together and share with each other kept us going. There was never a dull moment when we were able to converge on Mom and Dads house and talk. The memories are going to always be apart of me. Andie was an imspiration to me and the one person who always seemed to have it all together and knew where she put it, so to speak.

Betty, Sus, Ronnie, Kara, Brandon please know how sorry I am for your loss, Andie was a beautiful person, both inside and out. I was always so proud of her for ALL of her accomplishments. I love you all alot. You are in my prayers daily. Kalyn

Our deepest condolences go to Andie's family and friends. We are so thankful that we were allowed to know Andie, even if for a short time. Andie always greeted us with a beautiful smile and a warm hug. She was truly an inspiration in regards to how easy it was for her to gain new friends and to remain a good friend to others. Brandon and Kara, you are GREAT kids, and that is because of your mother. She was proud of you both. May you recieve comfort whenever you are in need of it. Andie will be greatly missed but she will always be a part of us.

Andrea is my niece. My daughter, Sonya, and I went to visit with her this past summer when she, Kara and Brandon came to Maine to visit with her Dad. We had never met Kara and Brandon, although she had sent me pictures off and on over the years as they were growing up. What wonderful young people they are.

I visited Ron, Betty, Andrea and Susan in Alaska the year Andrea graduated from high school. It is hard to believe that the beautiful young woman I saw receive her diploma that year is no longer with us. I wish I could have seen more of her and her family; however, I am happy I spent some time with her in Alaska and at home in Colorado one Thanksgiving many years ago. Andrea did get a chance to visit my home here in Cumberland Center a few years ago. She came to visit her Dad and to attend her Grandfather Merritt's 80th birthday party. We all had fun.

Andrea you will always be with me in spirit. I will never forget your beautiful smile and wonderful positive personality. You are now free from pain - be happy with your angels.

Not long after Andie found out she was sick, she said something that stuck with me. She said, "I have to trust that God knows what He's doing..." Every time I'm feeling low on faith that one thought pops into my mind and I think, you know, she's right, and I try a little harder. I hope that one day my own faith will be as unshakeable as hers. I can't remember there ever being a time when Andie was not part of my life; she and I were cousins and friends; we grew up together - more than once! So many memories! What a cool ride! But where did the time go?

It seems to me that there should be so much more to say here and yet, oddly, its as simple as this...Andie is one of the people I love most in the world and she knows that. Everything else - the laughter, the tears, the talks, the lessons, the entire journey, the memories - they're all simply part of the deal; the bonuses of love, so to speak. It was from Andie that I learned how important it is to make sure that the people you love know that; you never know when you won't get another chance. I think Suz said it best when she said that Andie loved life in a way that a lot of people don't. I think that's because she was so full of life herself.

Brandon and Kara - You are awesome! There is so much of your mom in both of you. I see it more every time I get to spend time with you guys. You have her spirit, her energy, her love, and it shines in the two of you! Don't ever let the world take that away - its so precious.

Andie - You have always been, and WILL always be an angel in my life. I love you and I'll see ya when I get there!

Betty, Ronnie, Susie, Brandon and Kara - I love you all!

As Andie's stepmom, I wish I would have been able to visit with her a lot more than I did. When I did get to see her, she always had that beautiful smile and easy manner. She was so easy to talk to and such a wonderful human being. I will never forget her last visit with her dad and I this past summer. She had just finished her radiation treatments, and along with Brandon and Kara, came for a visit. She arrives at the house and gets into her luggage and presents me with a beautiful ring and Kokopelli plate. It just amazes me what an extremely thoughtful person she was even as sick as she was. She was a woman with a great heart and unending love. Such a beautiful person inside and out, I will miss you Andie, and remember and love you forever. To Brandon and Kara, Betty, Suz, and all of her family, I am so sorry for your loss.

My thoughts and prayers are with all of Andie's family and friends. My sister, Stephenie Eilerts, was truly blessed to have such a wonderful friend. Through the updates from Steph, I was prepared when I rec'd the news that my mother was terminally ill and had a very short time. I was able, through faith (and reading once again the updates sent to me from Steph & Andie's family), to spend the last 2 weeks of my mom's life taking care of her with true faith and the strength to let her go. Thank you to my sister and to Andie's family. God Bless. Barbara Hinerman, Canton, Georgia

I've known Andie my whole life. When I was younger I just couldn't wait to grow up so I could hang out with her and Suz. Altough I never got to spend much time with her, Andie was always fun to be around. She was always happy and could make everybody else smile with her.

I am glad to know that Andie has gone Home and that we'll see her again one of these days. Until then, my heart goes out to Brandon and Kara, to Betty and Suz, and to Andie's closest friends and family who are all feeling our loss.

She lived her life beautifully.

I first met Andie at Gold's Gym when I started to prepare for my first fitness competition. I was at the begining and she was almost ready to compete - how intimdated I was! She was always helpful - turn this way, put your hand here, ect. Always asking about my diet and my training - she was just interested in helping the newbie.

If we couldn't talk about gym things, we talked about kids and then dogs. Her kids were the greatest on earth and she spoke of them often. My daughter is named Andi so we had lots to talk about.

We haven't been in touch lately - but I always expect her to pop into the gym at any time and find out where I am in my training. I will miss her and will never forget her. I extend my sympathy to her family and friends.

Sincerely,

Marsha and Don Westberry

Andie was our step-niece, and even though we only met her a few times, she always had a beautiful smile on her face. Meeting her children this summer was an honor. Such wonderful, loving children - definitely two children to be very proud of. Andie was an inspiration to all us here in Maine. Her children were very lucky to have such a special mom. She will be with them always - in their hearts, minds and looking out for them. Our thoughts and prayers are with our brother-in-law Ron, Betty, Suzie and the children. She was one special person, someone you only meet once in a lifetime.

I used to work with Andie for a short time at Colorado Structures. From the first day I saw her peaking over the top of her computer monitor, I liked her. Although I didn't get to spend much time with her since I left CSI, I have seen her a few times, and she was always smiling. When I worked with her she was always one of the most interesting people to talk to. I would ask about her photos and find out such neat things about her life. And she was always the most proud of the photos of her children. Over the years, we have kept in touch mostly via email. She was often emailing me about some crazy dream she had and asking me to analyze it for her. I remember how beautiful she looked in her cool cowboy (cowgirl) hat when we went to see Keith Urban in concert. I am sure he picked her out in the crowd and was singing just to her. She has touched so many lives and will continue to do so. I know she has meant alot to me. Andie, I'll miss you, girl! I see you now in a warm sunny place with palm trees, beaches, cool breezes, and of course Cabana boys. I know you are watching over everyone. We love you!

Dear Andie's Family,

People come into your lives for many reasons. Andie came into mine as a great inspiration of faith, love of family and determination.

We were co-workers at Colorado Structures for many years and had a great time working on the special events for the company. She was always there when I needed a helping hand and never offered a complaint - even if it meant that she stayed behind to answer the busy phones while the rest of us went off to a 2 hours lunch.

Andie, you always displayed a beautiful personality and charming way. I admired you.

Andie was here in Maine this past summer, and she was such an inspiration to all of us. She was a pillar of strength, courage and showed us what life is worth and that it should be cherished every day. She has two beautiful children, and will always be their angel. My thoughts and prayers are with Uncle Ron, Betty and Susie, and the children. Andie has given everyone memories to cherish, and also quite a standard that we should all live up to.

I'm at a loss for the right words that can express the loss I feel for my very dear friend. My first thoughts and concerns are for Bardon and Kara. Your Mom has been my friend since high school, just about the only person I have been friends with longer is your Dad, who to until my last day, will be my best friend. You both have so many wonderful parts of your Mom in you, you should feel proud that she was your Mom. My best memories of your Mom are the simple things like her smile, and that look she would give you when she "got you good" in a prank or joke she pulled on me or somebone else. Your Mom will always be with you. You will always here her voice if you listen close enough, and listen with your heart.

The remander of my concern is for the rest of the family. Betty, Ron and Suzy, my second family the Wrights, and all of Andies friends, especially Kim and Bret. We all loved her, and all have now suffered such a loss. I know I'm not alone in saying that I loved Andie, that I now have a hole in my heart that cannot be repaired, or replaced. I like all of you miss her, and will be looking forward to the day when I will see her again.

Andie I love you, always have, always will. You always "got me good" in so many ways, and I know your still with us all, see ya when I see ya babe!

I worked with Andie at a local CPA firm for several years. I remember how she had her children's clay handprints displayed on the wall. Also, anytime Andie was going for lunch, she would always ask everyone if she should bring anything back for them. Andie was beautiful and sweet, inside and outside, and always had a sunny disposition. I can't believe she's no longer here. I will never forget her kindness and pleasant demeanor.

I can't begin to imagine how to fill the void that has been left this past week. Although not having spent much time with Andie in the past few years, we spent thousands of hours via phone. I will miss our catching up sessions, the goofy jokes, and remembering the "bopper days" in Alaska. Andie M, it's a Twister!!!

My life has been better by knowing Andie. My family is here because of her influence and some very precise words and advice offered at the right time without charge or judgment.

As I cherish her memory and celebrate her life, I will always have a hole in my heart that only my Andie M. could fill.

Brandon and Kara, Please know how special you mom was not only to you, but her friends around her. There is no count of those she touched, and those who are better off by knowing her.

To the Family, thank you for sharing Andie M with my family and with me... Suzy... you were right… what a ride!

I’ll miss you Andie M…
