Andrew Braio Obituary

Although he never coached me personally at Encina in the sixties, he was always there for us with his great attitude great smile and friendship that lasted forever. Thanks Coach you were the greatest.

Gail & I can't tell you how impressed we were with your missionary work and love of God. Both of you inspired us so much as knowing how much you loved the Lord. Our prayersfor your comfort, your family and Andy's place in heaven is on our daily request. It's no secret how much he was respected on the ball team in college. The two of you have made wonderful memories for all of us. God Bless!

Andy Braio was a kind man who had a positive influence on the lives of many young people as both a teacher and a coach. My condolences and prayers go out to the family.

Andy was a true friend and faithful servant of the Lord. He will be remembered for his love and kindness.

Deepest condolences to the family. Coach Braio challenged me to find the real Jesus during my Encina years and because of his influence I came to know my Lord and Saviour. Rest in peace in your eternal home.

Coach Braio was my P.E. for 4 years at Encina. He was a dedicated teacher and we had a tremendous respect for him. May God bless his family.

That smile says a lot about the kind of man he was. I remember him as a very charismatic person full of vigor during my time at Encina. I ran into him later in the early 80's at Sunriver Church! What a blessing to know that his life impacted so many throughout the world with the Good News.

Linda & Family, So sorry to hear of Coach Braio's passing, though I'm thankful he is free of pain and with our Lord. I have such great memories of the 1966 baseball season at Encina. I was only there for one year but watching the games was a highlight of my Senior year. It was great seeing both of you at the party at the Benvenuttis a few years ago. God bless you and your family at this difficult time.

Mr. Braio was my favorite P.E. teacher at Encina High School 1980. He never made me feel bad or different about having to wear my Boston back brace for scoliosis. He treated me as a normal kid in his P.E. class and expected me to do all the exercises that everyone else did. I kept up with everyone else and I still do today. The world is a little less bright without the shining light of Mr. Braio but I am sure he will help light my way when it is my turn to come home to the Lord. God Bless you Mr. Braiountil we meet again.

I didn't have him as a teacher, but I did know him as "Coach Braio"! He always seemed to be a tough, but fair, coach!! He always seemed to be happy being a coach and teacher!!! My prayers go out to his wife, family, friends, and coworkers!!!!

Mr. Braio was my PE teacher at Encina High School in 1974. He was a great person and teacher. My condolences to the family. It is good to know he is in Heaven with his Heavenly Father.
