ANDREW "JACK" BUGG
1930 - 2022
Jack Bugg of Woodland Park, CO died August 19, 2022. He was born in Ashland, KY to the late Andrew J Bugg & Flora Mae Sikes. Jack was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 70 years, Jean, and his sister, Joyce Bellamy and brother, Eddie.
He graduated from Anderson University, Anderson, Indiana and devoted his life in God's service as a pastor of Churches of God (headquartered in Anderson, Indiana) in Ashland, KY and St Louis, Missouri. Jack also served in various capacities with the Board of Church Extension and Home Mission, Anderson, Indiana. An impactful part of his life was as Trooper Bugg, when he was a Kentucky State Police Officer. Upon retirement, Jack & Jean, moved to Colorado where he enjoyed hiking the beautiful Colorado mountains, enjoying the creation and worshipping the Creator. He enjoyed making friends with the servers at his two favorite local restaurants Judges and Fiesta Mexicana.
Jack is survived by his 4 children: Mark (Jan), Michael (Gretta), Michelle Swanson (Doug), and Marty (Linda), 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on September 17, 11:00 am at the Woodland Park Cemetery. Arrangements provided by Return to Nature Funeral Home.
