Angela Kucera Obituary

April 19, 1924-December 31, 2007. Angela Marie Kucera passed away suddenly from a heart condition on December 31, 2007. She was born in St. Paul, Minnesota in 1924 and married Dr. Louis B. Kucera in 1950. They moved to Colorado Springs in 1954 where they raised their ten children. Angela is survived by her husband and children: Mary Louise Kucera, David Paul Kucera, John Lawrence Kucera, Rev. Allan Robert Kucera, Margaret Ann Satriano, Sr. Veronica of the Holy Face, O.C.D., Sr. Elias of the Angels, O.C.D. and Patrice Clare Sutter, all of Colorado Springs, Thomas James Kucera of Denver and Anne Bernadette Heckenkamp of Castle Rock, CO. She is also survived by six grandchildren: Gregory Joseph Satriano, Anthony Paul Satriano, Dominic James Satriano, Juliana Marie Satriano, Benedict Joseph Heckenkamp and Christopher Gerard Heckenkamp. She was a member of Holy Family Chapel in Colorado Springs, attending the traditional Catholic Mass there with her family for over 25 years. Angela was an accomplished vocal artist, trained at the Julliard School of Music and performed professionally in St. Paul, Minnesota. She was a member of The Colorado Springs Chorale for many years. Her warm, generous and loving heart will be greatly missed. Visitation will be held Friday, January 4, 2008 from 6 to 7 p.m. followed by recitation of the Rosary at 7 p.m. at Mountain View Mortuary, 2350 Montebello Square Drive, Colorado Springs, CO. The funeral Requiem Mass will be offered at 9 a.m. Saturday, January 5, 2008 at Holy Family Chapel, 8025 Maverick Road, Colorado Springs. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Colorado Springs.
