Ann Sherman Memoriam

Honey, it was a year ago when we gathered around your bed. At your request, a bottle of Champagne was brought to your bedside. When the cork popped, you smiled and clapped your hands. The champagne was poured, we all raised our glasses and toasted you. You were still smiling as you drifted off to sleep. You left us as you had lived your life, smiling and with your thoughts still about the rest of us. We have missed you since, and we think about you every day. We were consoled by how bravely you faced your final days with us. We were also consoled because you were looking forward to being with Jesus and his Blessed Mother. We are comforted knowing you are with them now. We love you very much. We know you continue to watch over us. We are thankful for the wonderful years we had with you as wife, mom and Nana. Your legacy is us.
