Ann Waterman Obituary

Annie Waterman died on December 1, 2013 in Colorado Springs at the age of 90. She married Robert G. Stovall, Jr., while they were in the Navy. They had three children, Robert G. Stovall (Rosanne), Gay Stovall Dzinski (Steve), and Douglas B. Stovall (Joan). She married Robert Waterman in 1974 and acquired two stepchildren: Robert Waterman Jr. (Judy) and Susan Waterman Reed (Richard). Annie had an amazing capacity for making and keeping friends wherever she lived.

A consummate volunteer, Ann summered in Grand Lake and volunteered at Rocky Mountain National Park. In Colorado Springs she volunteered at Bear Creek and Fountain Creek Nature Centers.

In addition to her children and stepchildren, Annie leaves an extended family including 9 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

No services are planned at this time.

Donations in her memory should be made to Bear Creek Nature Center, 245 Bear Creek Road, Colorado Springs 80906; or The Homefront Cares, 1120 N. Circle, Suite 7, Colorado Springs 80909.
