Anna (Kucukoglu) Hansen, 84, of Houston, passed away peacefully on September 9, 2025.
Funeral services will be held at Archangel Michael Greek Orthodox Church at 10 am on Tuesday, September 30th. Burial will follow at Fort Logan National Cemetery at 2 pm.
She is survived by her daughter, Stephanie (Hansen) Bailey and husband Jarrett; sister, Theodora Archer; nieces, Ioanna (Tom) Raughton and Angie (Mik) Martino. She was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Dale Hansen; parents, Yani and Mariya (Gasparakis) Kucukoglu; sister, Calliope Lomi; and brother, Niko Kucukoglu.
Born in Istanbul, Turkey, Anna was proud of her Greek heritage and devoted to her Greek Orthodox faith. She and Dale spent the first eight years of their marriage stationed in Greece and Italy with the Army before settling in Colorado Springs in 1981. Anna was a member of Archangel Michael Greek Orthodox Church. She also worshiped at St. John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church in Pueblo for many years. She will be remembered for her warmth, faith, and love for family and friends.
