She retired from the Fountain-Fort Carson School District 8. Viewing is at Johnson Memorial, Bessemer, Alabama, Friday Noon until 8:00, with Delta Sigma Theta Omega Omega Service at 6:00 PM. Life Celebration is 11:00 Saturday, January 18, 2025, at Grace Lutheran Church. Entombment follows at Highland Memorial Gardens. Johnson Memorial 205.425.2414.

To the Anna Hill family, and extened family: May the peace of God surpass all understanding. For we know that she was ready to be with God. I knew her for a brief period. Her elegance and warmth will always be in my memory. Her beautiful smile, and impeccable perfect grammar reminds me of my mother, who was also a Language Arts Teacher. May you find peace in the days ahead. "Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning." Psalms 30: 5.
