Anna Rendon Obituary

Anna M. Rendon, age 75, of Rhinelander, WI, passed away on Saturday, April 23, 2016, under Ministry Hospice Care. She was born July 3, 1940, to the late Franz and Hilde (Scholaster) Folger. Anna was married to Cecil Rendon on November 7, 1963; he passed in 2015.



Anna was loved and cherished by all who knew her. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was born in Dursseifen, Czech Republic, and displaced from her childhood home during World War II settling in Agawang, Germany. Anna met and married Cecil Rendon (an American soldier stationed there) and came to the United States in 1964. Anna raised 5 small children by herself while her husband served our country in the Vietnam War. She loved being outdoors camping, fishing, gardening and golfing. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her and loved her. She passed peacefully at home with her family by her side.

Survivors include:

Her 5 Children, Robert Rendon, Dieter (Tammy) Rendon, Anita Rendon, Elida (Charles) Rendon-Garnier and Core Rendon;

Her Sisters, Erika Wenzl and Hildegard (Fritz) Wisgigl.

Anna is further survived by many Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren.



She was preceded in death by her Husband of 51 years, Cecil Rendon; her Father, Franz Folger; her Mother, Hilde (Scholaster) Folger, and her Brother, Franz Folger.
