(Marieta) Anne Patchell Earley passed away Jan 26, 2022 at the age of 85. Born in Quitman, AR on Feb 7, 1936 to Luther and Delia (nee Bettis) Patchell, Anne lived in Colo Springs, CO, since 1959. Over her lifetime, she was a devoted mother, rancher, clerk, truck driver, school bus driver, and a business owner for over 60 years. She put her children first. She was always a champion of pets and those less fortunate, and often did without to be able to help others. She married John Burton in 1952, then O.M. "Butch" Earley in 1972. She is survived by her husband Butch, six children--Ralph Burton of Montrose, CO, Anita McKnight (Manuel) of Clarksville, TN, Carl Earley (Karen) of Mesa, AZ, Michelle Soto of Peoria, AZ, and Phyllis Earley and Sonya Turner, both of Colo Springs, CO, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents, her sister Lou Eva Burton, her daughter-in-law Gwen Carpenter Burton, and her son-in-law Rudy Soto. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Paralyzed Veterans of America, St. Jude's, or Shriners.
