Anne Mariner Obituary

Sue and I send our love to Jim and family. Anne was a vital, wonderful woman who graced and bettered this earth.

I remember what good times and incredible experiences we had as Ghsna II Peace Corps Volunteers.

Jim, Pat and I wish to express our condolences. I'm glad we had the opportunity to reconnect at the Bend Oregon gathering four years ago. May Anne now rest in peace.

Jim and family, David anI send you our condolances and concern. She was a very sweet lady and we know you and yours will miss her greatly. The circle of life has a beginning and an end which we all know, but somehow it doesn't make it any easier when it comes to our loved ones and us. You are in our thoughts and prayers

Anne and Jim were fellow Ghana II Peace Corps volunteers with me, to whom I looked up as older and wiser than many of us fresh out of college. It was a joy to see them both at our reunion in Oregon. My condolences to Jim.

Anne excelled as a Mom, Grandmother, teacher, advisor, and mentor, as well as being a role model for women in science. Her patience, kindness, generosity, and calm spirit were unsurpassed and many of her students adopted her as their away-from-home Mom. She understood where kids were coming from and met them there with honesty, integrity, and empathy. She left this world a better place and will be missed.
