Annemarie Garza Obituary

My deepest condolences to her family and friends. She was like a godmother to me. I stayed with her and Mr Pete in Germany, and Colorado Springs. I remember her fondness for animals. I remember her dogs Chief and Tiger. Chief was my best friend in Kansas. I have loving memories of her. May she rest in peace.

We will mourn the loss of our Aunt Annemarie. A truly great lady who welcome us with open arms every time we visited Colorado Springs. I deeply regret not being able to attend the services this morning. May she rest in peace.

Fountain Creek Nature Center will greatly miss our dedicated volunteer, Annemarie. She served the children of the community with her wide smile and love of nature through the programs at the nature center, being a special guest with her "bag of bugs" and introducing "Big Bugs" to scores of people at special events at the nature center, and Tammi the Cockatiel. I will personally miss her stories of her dad in Germany, her safaris in Africa and the beautiful pressed flower notecards she made for me. Happy Trails, Annemarie.

What a wonderful lady Annemarie was. We spent good times visiting with her along with my mom Eva Rosenthal who was her friend. Bob & Gillian Rosenthal

My mother Mary Servantez wishes to send her deepest condolences . She has found memories of her sister in law. She said she remembers when Uncle Pete came home with Annemarie to meet the family for the first time. Mom said she was so pretty and was so sweet and everyone loved her. My memories of my Aunt Annerarie are of her bring me cookies every time she came to see us. She will be missed by her many friends and family I am sure . Brenda Myers

I had the pleasure of visiting with Annemarie and being a pampered guest in her home a few years ago. She so impressed me with her energy, her volunteer activities, and independence plus her accomplishments and awards for the landscaping business she owned. I will never forget such a super lady, so smart and full of life. I wish we had taken that trip to Africa we talked about! Rest in Peace, sweet lady.

My Great Aunt was a great lady and had a zest for life!!! She wasn't afraid to try anything. I loved visiting her and my Great Uncle Pete. She will be missed.

Deepest sympathy & condolences to Annemarie's family. She was a gifted ambassador for nature & donated many hours to the El Paso County Nature Centers. Children of all ages enjoyed getting to know her tarantula Rosie. Seeing their astonished looks when they realized they were actually holding a big spider will be a favorite memory.

Ms. Garza was one of our favorite customers. She always had a smile and brought her bird to see us when she came to the office. We shall miss her.
