I recently learned that my dear friend Annette was no longer with us. She changed my life, her great wisdom made me better. I will truly miss her and am so thankful that we met in this life.

I remember Annette so many years ago in Del Norte. She always had a ready smile and was so fun to be with. She helped serve at our reception table when we were married. How we pray for God to pour his grace and comfort upon you as you remember her.

I too, knew Annette through Ford many years ago. As I knew her it is hard to believe she was ever shy. She was vibrant, positive, and despite the many years between then and now she was obviously memorable. I recall when she was on-air for her first time at a local news station, how excited she was and how well she did. I admired her courage and spirit. My thoughts are with all of you.

My sister, Annette, was an extraordinary woman. She developed unique relationships with everyone she knew, remembering every detail of their lives, always interested and inquisitive, regardless of her own circumstances. She adored her children, Stefan and Hannah and her 3rd child "Boo" (the pooch). Annette could be wild and wacky, serious and analytical; she would gob-smack you if you needed it (I often did). Never at a loss for words, Annette had a tremendous sense of humor that was insightful and delightful. She was a talented journalist. I admired her courage in the face of adversity, including a long illness. She was a fierce advocate for her children and extended family. My own loss over losing Annette can never be described. She was my best friend, a loyal and devoted sister.

Annette was a loving, beautiful sister, and I miss her every day. I will take from her the courage to live life to the fullest even through adversity, to always have a sense of humor, and I will always know her as an incredible mother.

I worked with Annette for many years at Ford. I'm blessed to have known her. She was a wonderful person. Stefan and Hannah I am so sorry for your loss.
