Tony Gordon is a hard-working, loving, and kind man who is a gift from God. Tony died in a tragic accident on March 2, 2024, at the age of 58.
Tony was born in Wamego, KS on April 17, 1965. He graduated from St. George High School. He moved to Colorado Springs, CO, and started Gordon Construction in 2004. He married Tamara Gordon on April 1st, 2012.
Tony is survived by his wife, Tamara Gordon; his sister Tina Ayotte; his children, Brianna (Christian) Quesada, Sabrinna (Jacob) Sparks, and Corynne (Chris) Zodrow; his grandchildren Ashton & Landon Moss, McKenna & Owen Sparks, Allie & Regan Zodrow; his nephew Blake Ayotte; his aunt, Ricki Winklepleck Shaw; his uncle, Michael (Colleen) Winklepleck; & his numerous cousins.
He is predeceased by his parents Nancy Winklepleck Gordon and Gary Gordon; his grandmother, Margie Winklepleck; his grandfather, George Winklepleck; his grandmother, Helen Gordon; his grandfather, James Gordon; his nephew, Brandon Ayotte; his aunts, Linda Winklepleck, Mary Gordon (Austin), and Becky Gordon (Lindbloom); his uncles, Ben Gordon, Steve Shaw, Roland Gordon, Shorty Austin, George Winklepleck, and Jim Gordon.
Anthony was a devoted father, husband, grandfather, boss, and friend who found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He enjoyed golfing, dancing, hunting, fishing, and living life to the fullest. A spiritual man of abiding faith, Anthony committed himself to God and was baptized on April 8, 2012.
Tony never met a stranger. He welcomed everyone he met with open arms, immediately making them feel like family. Always ready to lend a helping hand or offer a listening ear, Anthony strove to be a caring pillar of support and comfort for all. His contribution to families and the community will forever be revered. With his warm smile, hearty laugh, and peaceful, loving eyes, he brightened every room he entered. Anthony will be deeply missed by his family, his many friends, and all those blessed to have known this kind and generous soul.
