Z - you were such a joy to visit with when you were here. I'm glad we got to know you, you are missed!

You were my role model, I dreamed to be just like you. Some things changes along the way, but still you were part of my acomplishments.



You lived a full live, enjoyed it as much as you could and then became a mother.



I'll will missed you a live time, love you for ever.

There were five of us girls at the University of Puerto Rico with enough cojones to rock the stutus quo. At the time, it was a man's world. Girls stayed on the sidelines hoping to get a bit of the light that shined through our companions. Miriam was and is a star shining bright. Her deep set bright eyes were both mischievious and wise. Her pranks knew no boundaries as well as her love of life. One of the first ones to leave the island, she found her niche in the grey rockies. We lost touch and I always missed her. About a year ago she found me through the internet. And once again we lose each other. How I wished to have spent time with her these last years, when she was not bound by an oxygen tank and there were no rocks in the horizon. To her daughter and friends: how lucky you were to have her all these years. You will be in my thoughts.
