Arnold W. Burton was born in 1929 in Wellfleet, NE to Vernon W. & Sylva A. Burton.
He is survived by his three younger siblings; brother Robert(Bonnie), sisters Inez Fickel & Vera Grace(Don) Moore, in addition his three children; Douglas Burton, Stacey Moore, Natalie(Pete)Ballweber, 4 grandchildren & 7 great-grandchildren.
After graduating high school in Colorado Springs, Arnold became a real estate broker in the 1960's. He operated Burton Realty which he continued until his retirement.
He joined the Pikes Peak Range Riders in 1973. Highlights include 35 annual rides & performing for many years with the Pivots drill team. He served in most of the group's positions over the years including Ride Director 1978. His favorite job was trails committee where he explored & laid out trails for the annual ride.
He lived over 40 yrs in Black Forest where he built his home & enjoyed hosting family. Affiliations: Pikes Peak Range Riders. Independent Order of Odd Fellows. Soil & Water Conservation Society.
In lieu of flowers: Donations appreciated to Pikes Peak Range Riders Foundation or IOOF.
Celebration of Life Memorial- Join us @ Latigo Trails Equestrian Center 4/13/2023 time TBA.

Uncle Arnold will be missed. I'm thankful that we managed to keep in touch through the years. He loved his family, his beautiful home in the forest and the simple pleasures in life like making custom bird houses and watching the deer graze in the meadow. My condolences to his family and friends.
