Dear Dad,
My days have been so lonely since you have gone to be with mom and our lord above. I do know that you are now no longer in pain and can walk again. I have to remind myself of that when I get lonely for you and your special smile. That is something that you loved to do so much and having to be in a wheel chair has been hard for you. I also know that it made you said that you could no longer hold cards in your hands. You used to love to play cards with me (and win most of the games that we played). Maybe mom will play a few hands with you now.
I love you dad . . . until we are back together again, know that you and mom are always in my heart and prayers.
