Arthur Mitchell Obituary

Arthur Mitchell, Jr., 55, of Walsenburg, went home to be with his Savior, Jesus, March 14, 2011. He died of complications due to Alzheimer's disease. He was born in Denver, CO to Arthur and Ida Mitchell on September 4, 1955. He was honorably discharged from the US Navy in 1978. Arthur worked at Hugh M. Woods and the retail business for over 30 years. He had the biggest heart for his family and a passion for cars of all kinds. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Joy "Ginger" Mitchell; his two children, Matthew (Lindsay) Mitchell, and Michelle Mitchell. He has one grandchild, Luke Mitchell. Memorial Services will be held Friday, March 18, 2011 at 10 a.m., at the Greenhorn Valley Baptist Church in Rye, CO. A reception will follow in the basement of the church.
