Arturo Gutierrez Obituary
Art is predeceased by his parents, his wife, Nancy, who he enjoyed 42 years with, stepchildren Irene Satterfield, Donald Martinez and Bobby Hawk Martinez.
He is survived by stepchildren Judy (Pedro) Martinez, Pueblo, Larry (Flo) Martinez, El Cajon, CA, LeRoy (Yvonne) Martinez, Littleton, and Shirley (Gerald) Gonzales, Colo Springs, his beloved grandchildren, great grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends.
Although Art never had any children of his own, he treated each and every stepchild as his. In many ways, he taught us how to be a better parent and husband. He may now be gone but, he will forever be remembered as one of the finest people who ever graced this earth.
Visitation will be held Sunday, May 7, 2017 from 12-4pm at Swan-Law Funeral Directors. Rosary, at 10am on Monday, May 8, 2017 followed by Mass of the Christian Burial at 11am, Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 2715 E. Pikes Peak Ave. Burial will take place at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

My condolances and prayers to the family. Art was more than a neighbor to my mom and I, he was a friend. He was always lending a helping hand, if and when he could. It was a joy watching him mow the lawn every Friday morning starting in springtime thru the fall. He never seemed to tire. Well God saw that you finally did get tired and called you home. Your resting now Art, God bless you. You'll be missed.
