Ashton Leroy Randall was called home to heaven December 11, 2021. He was born in Chadron, Nebraska to Francis Edy Randall and Helen (Ashton) Randall. He started out on his great adventure with his parents and brothers; Tommy "David" Fenton & Richard "Rick" Randall until the sudden passing of his father in 1953. After his father's death, the family moved to Colorado Springs to be closer to his mother's family.
Ashton attended Wasson High School and graduated in 1961 prior to heading off to the University of Southern Colorado in Pueblo where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree and met his wife, Betty Stinchcomb.
Ashton taught school for D11 in his early career, yet left teaching to follow his true passion of building. He became an A licensed general contractor. He was only two years old when he said "build homes mommy" in response to a question of what he wanted to do in life. He did build homes as well as many other types of buildings around the state and he loved every minute of it!
Besides building, his other passion was helping others. He showed everyday his genuine love, concern, and care for others. He enjoyed his Tuesday and Friday lunch groups with his friends. He had a strong spirit of life and adventure. He was always persistent, and never gave up until a project was complete. He was giving, humorous, and always there as a son, brother, dad, grandpa, and friend. He was a man of great faith and was excited to go home to Jesus.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and brothers. He is survived by his children and their spouses; Sherri and Darren Scherb, Edy and Mic (McAllister) Randall, Mike and Jodi Randall and his eight grandchildren: Jeremy, Christopher, Ryan, Reanna, Olek, Tye, Karis and Grant.
Now on to your next adventure Ashton. As he always said before each adventure, "Doot…Doot…Doot…Do"! Until we see you again, we love you!
In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Springs Rescue Mission and/or Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
Services will be held at Holy Trinity Catholic Church on December 21, 2021 @ 11:00 followed by a celebration of life gathering at Ashton's house.

So saddened to learn of Ashton´s passing. In 2011 he was instrumental in assisting me to organize Wasson´s 50th year reunion in conjunction with Palmer HS. He was devoted to his faith and was an honest and reliable man.

Our deepest condolences - I know you all will miss him profoundly! When sadness overwhelms, try to take comfort in the fact that he is on his greatest adventure.
When we were children, he and Aunt Betty were there to ensure we had a very bright spots during a tough time for our family. I will always be grateful for their presence, support and love.
