I do think of her often. I do miss her too. I love you Aubree.

Aubree, I still think of you often. I will have you in my thoughts until I leave this world. Your beauty & laughter are certainly missed. I wish I could hug you, one more time. May God hold you safe for eternity.

I met Aubree at Bobby's Barrel Inn in Volo IL when I was in High School. My dad (Mark Dunn) and his friends Try & Doreen Smith used to go there for breakfast all the time on Sundays when she was waitressing. I never could get up the courage to ask for Aubree's number. Until one day, Troy decided to embarrass me and asked for her number for me. LOL. It was a cute little scene. We dated for the next 4 months or so and then I started another job so we lost touch. I left for the navy shortly after that but always thought of her and wished her well. The last time I saw her was when I was home on leave and she was walking down the road near the farm house she lived in at the time in Wauconda. I pulled up, chatted with her a bit and then headed on down the road. The next time I came home, I was told she was living in Chicago and the house was torn down. I just learned of there passing about 3 days ago. I haven't seen her in years but, I know I will always miss her. You are missed for both your beauty and your laughter. Fly hi Angel.

My kids and I have a memory we'd like to share from this past summer of 2014. Aubs called us and asked if we'd like to join her and her boys to watch a movie in the park. Of course we said yes and we met her, Jake and Luke at Athletic Field Park at dusk to watch the movie musical Newsies. She told me she listened to the music earlier that day from this movie and just loved it! We laughed because Christian Bale is the star of this Disney musical movie and he was really good. We couldn't believe that he acted, sang and danced, a triple threat we agreed. So this is my happy summer memory of us. My kids Alex, Sammy and Connor spending a beautiful Chicago summer night with a blanket layed out on the grass, she brought the most delicious homemade guacamole and brownies to share with us, she cuddled with Sammy and Connor as Jakey, Lukey and Alex kicked around a soccer ball with other kids from the neighborhood and it was just a happy, beautiful night. I hope this story makes you smile as it did again last night as my kids and I were remembering our dear friend. A fantastic Mother, an artist, a giver, and I can hear her singing one of her favorite songs by Adele, Rollin in the Deep, right now. Rest in peace my friend. Love, Ruthie

You instinctively knew how to make me smile. Whether I had a good or bad day at work, a casual visit, or after a win or loss after a Chicago Fire match, your smile and the little things you did for me visiting you at the Globe Pub always put me in a good mood. I wish I could've seen you once more and kept in touch, especially before you left. I miss you and love you, my friend. Vaya con dios. I hope you will remember me when I finally see you...someday.

AUBREE, is hurting so much to accept that you're gone and I'll never get to see you or talk to you again. Being around you was always a joy! You will be remembered forever. R.I.P. Beautiful Friend

Aubree and I going incognito to hang out at the club we worked at without being recognized. She had the most amazing laugh and most beautiful smile; there was always joy when I was with her.

Aubree tears are falling and we cant quite grasp this reality that you are no longer in the physical world. But I know your spirit will live on. My heart breaks for the boys and your mom and dad. You were so very loved. The holidays will never be the same without you there.

I went to HS with Aubree and I am sooo sorry to hear of this tragedy. I don't know how it happened but I am so sad to hear and sorry to everyone who lost this beautiful girl. She was a great person.

I am still trying to reconcile that you are gone and I'm not quite sure how I am going to go on knowing you are gone. I pray for peace and comfort for your family and for your 2 beautiful boys that have been blessed to have you as their mother. I hope they will forever know how special and loving you are. And may they never forget how much their mother loved them. You have been my best friend for over 20 years and no one will be able to replace that space you have in my heart. I look forward to the time we can see each other again and give those people upstairs something to talk about.

Rick, there are no words that can fully and adequately relay how deeply sorry I am. Although I had not seen you and your girls since my move to Atlanta, the three of you remain a large part of my happy memories when we were all members of the extended family that Judd, Anita, and Robyn built. For me, Aubree lives on in those memories and may her beautiful soul continue to be the most cherished part of that family.

I'm still adjusting to the fact that I'll never get to see you or talk to you again. Every couple hours it hits me and it doesn't feel right or real. You had such a radiant energy to you. Such a beautiful person inside and out. Miss and love you so much.
