Audrie Holzrichter Obituary

Things Will Be Determined by What You Want out of Life Audrie Lee Holzrichter's philosophy that "things will be determined by what you want out of life" resonates in her memory. Born in Kirbyville, TX on February 20, 1930 her life became characterized by resourcefulness. Although Holzrichter did not own a typewriter, she mimicked the position of her prancing fingers on the keys. Her efforts earned her positions with the federal government. Her ambition to overcome poverty in her hometown of Beaumont, TX directed her to Colorado Springs, CO. After 27 years of service in the federal government Holzrichter retired in 1992 and continued benevolent service to her family. Holzrichter viewed the best in those around her. She bestows a legacy of humane service on her family and friends. We will cherish and remember her. Memorial service held at 10 a.m., Tuesday March 14, 2006 at Funeral and Cremation Care of Colorado located 930 S. Hancock Ave. Colorado Springs, CO 80903. Followed by the funeral at Eastonville Cemetery in Black Forest, CO. By her granddaughter, Thea Skinner. Audrie Lee Holzrichter awarded for outstanding performance at the Army Air Defense Command Headquarters (ARADCOM) Colorado Springs, CO.
