Hard to believe it's been 13 years when you were brutally taken from us. Sometimes seems longer and sometimes doesn't seem it was that long ago. Miss you so much, everyday! Until we meet again, forever in our hearts. Love you Aug!

It's been a long time. August was, by far, the best friend I have ever had. But those words are not good enough. You were my brother, my greatest source of learning. Today marks the fifth year since you went away. I think about you everyday August. You were my big brother and now you are my guardian angel. I hear your voice and it reminds me to stay strong no matter what life throws my way. You always told me how strong I was. I am still strong and growing stronger everyday. It is a horrible tragedy to have someone taken from you without notice. I did not have the pleasure to meet this wonderful man. I am sure as August looks down from heaven to all those that he loved and cared for that they will take comfort in knowing that August will always be with them in their hearts and his memory will go on. To all of August's family and friends, I wish to send my condolences and may peace be with all of you.

august you were an amazing person. an amazing father, son, and friend to so many. i was shocked but it was your time and i know that people now look at you as a legend. you were strong, wise, and never afraid to stand up for what you believe. you have had a huge impact on my life and you will never be forgotten. this has taught me a lesson about life and myelf. i'm glad i can say you were the one to do that. we love you and always will. rip auggie.
