Aurora Lovato Obituary

Aurora “Dora� Lovato was born March 20, 1918 in Del Norte, Colorado to Nestor Tafoya and Rebecca Mondragon. The Lord called her home on January 29, 2011 at the age of 92. Dora has been a resident of Colorado Springs since 1950. Dora was preceded in death by her loving husband of 47 years, Felix B. Lovato, and their son, Felix H. Lovato, Jr. and eleven siblings. She is survived by her youngest sister, Esther Quintana of Monte Vista, Colorado; daughters, Mary Tafoya of Denver; Irene (Larry) Mondragon of San Luis; Della Martinez and Sara Vargas of Colorado Springs; 17 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; 18 great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 1, 2011 from 3-6 p.m. with a Rosary at 6:00 p.m. at Swan Law Funeral Cascade Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, February 2, 2011 at 10:00a.m., Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 2715 E. Pikes Peak Avenue, Colorado Springs, Colorado. Burial immediately following at Evergreen Cemetery.
