Barbara Harrington Obituary

Family and friends mourn the untimely loss of our beloved Barbie, wife of Dale Harrington (Colorado Springs); Mother of Jeff and Ana Muratori (Atlanta) and "Nani" of their sons: Jacob and Ronnie; "Mom" to Casey Harrington (Washington, D.C.) and "Nani" of his daughter, Lindsey; sister of Hank Swade (Chicago). Her life will be celebrated Saturday, July 29, at 1:00 p.m. in the Ivy Chapel at Fairmount Cemetery in Denver. Barbie earned her Gold Medal in Ice Dancing at age 43, and she coached and mentored many skaters throughout her life. Her beauty and intuition are sorely missed already. She is in God's arms and is at peace. Donations, in lieu of flowers, may be sent to the American Lung Association.

Barbie was my good friend and the best ice dance coach I ever had. She gave me confidence in myself when it was dance test time. I will miss her very much.
