Barbara Heaton Obituary

Barbara J Heaton (Christiansen), beloved wife and mother passed away peacefully on August 14, 2013 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was born in Elkhart, Indiana, November 23, 1937. Barbara graduated from Elkhart High School in 1956. She married Herbert E Heaton, in Elkhart, on August 18, 1962. They moved to Colorado with their two children in 1977. She leaves behind, to cherish her memory, devoted husband, Herbert E Heaton; loving children, James A Heaton and Julie Ann Heaton; sisters Betty Presley of Arden, NC and Beverly Cowsert of Highland, TX; as well as a host of nieces, nephews and friends. A small private service will be held for family only at Swan Law Funeral Home in Colorado Springs, CO. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Care and Share Food Bank for Southern Colorado at careandshare.org.
