Barbara Jean (Symms) Jones was born on March 2, 1937 to her proud and joyous parents Robert F. and Dorothy Jean Symms in Chicago Illinois.
Most of her childhood was spent in Detroit Michigan with her two younger sisters Carol (Schallock) and Peggy (Aadnesen).
During her lifetime Barb enjoyed traveling, going up to Cripple Creek, and especially playing cards with her "Bridge Broads" Bridge Club.
She was a member of First Presbyterian Church and enjoyed being in the "Sisters in Study" group.
Barbara taught over twenty years in the Cheyenne Mountain School District and made a definite impact on all her former third graders.
She leaves behind her devoted husband Robert Jones
Children Donald M. McKenzie, Sally L. Suchodolski (Charles), Jeanne M. Jackson (Richard), Stephanie K. Mosley (Don), Jeffrey R. Jones; Grandchildren Ethan M. McKenzie, Scott E. McKenzie, Cory R. Jackson, Colby R. Jackson, Nathan J.M. Suchodolski, Amber M. Orlik, John C. Suchodolski
Great Grandchildren; Audie E. Orlik, Charleigh M. Orlik, Alekzander M. Orlik
Barbara lived "a good life" as she said and will be sorely missed.
Wednesday 6/14 - visitation from 4-7pm at Swan Law
Thursday 6/15 - Service at First Presbyterian Church 10-11am
