Barbara Murray Obituary
She was known to many as Barbara Jones. Barbara started dating Mike Murray in 1967 and afterwards they never left one another's thoughts. As a pair, they grew up and grew old together.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Betty Nickerson; and her sister, Carolyn.
She is survived by her husband, Mike; sons, Alan(Lisa), and Arron (Wendy), grandchildren, Shawn-'Ce, Celeste, and Brendan; step-grandchildren, Christina, Angela, Katie, and Steven; step-great-grandchildren, brothers, John (Sandy), and Lloyd (Liz); sisters, Tammy, and Laura (Dave) Chacon; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, her many friends of Knob Hill, and her latest friend on Fairway S and Greensboro.
She was a proud student of Pikes Peak Community College's Culinary Arts Program.
She will be greatly missed. Thanks to each and every one for their love and support.
Memorial Service, 1:00PM, Monday, March 24, 2014, at The Springs Funeral Services, 3115 East Platte Avenue.

Saying goodbye is always hard, but even harder when you are saying goodbye to someone as loving as Barbara. Unfortunately I didn't know her as well as I would have liked but that never changed how she made me feel. From the moment we met she called me Little Sis, and accepted me as I was. We shared a Dad and we shared a last name but more than that we shared each other. I will forever be saddened by her passing, but will forever be thankful for the blessing she was to me. Love you Barb.
