Barb and I met when we were little girls when our dads bowled on the City Glass team at Peak Bowl. They bowled together for many years. We became good friends at Wasson. We were in Pep Club together, went to just about every football game, swim meet, wrestling match, baseball game, or any other T-bird related social event. Barb was always fun! She had that 1957, (I think) Chevy in which she would haul all of we girls. I remember one night in particular. We were sneaking out and, if you knew my Mom, that was a groundable offense. Barb had this great idea to push that big old car down my street so my parents wouldn't hear us starting the engine. How we got by with that is beyond me! I don't even remember where we went but Barb was in charge. We may or may not have tp'd John Mile's house. I know Barb would remember. She remembered everything! I still can't believe she is gone but I hold dear the memories I have of her and our great times together. I will miss her.
Rest in peace, Barb.

Barb was my classmate at Wasson and also worked with my husband at Penrose Hospital. What a kind and serving heart! She was such a special person and will be missed terribly. My thoughts and prayers to her family.

Barb and I were friends since the second grade at Audubon Elementary school and we grew up together. She remembered every little detail about elementary school and was always so fun to be with. God Bless you Barb. I will miss you.

I met Barb when she came to work for the City of Longmont in 2005 and we just hit it off. We bonded over growing up in Colorado Springs, children and our widowed mothers. She'd stop by my office and we always had wedding, kids and mom stories to share. For the holidays when Barb went home to pick up her mom in Colorado Springs she brought my mom, too. I will miss her and that special twinkle in her eyes that normally accompanied some witty remark about aging. RIP my friend, Becky

Barb had such a wonderful place in our lives. Although we were co workers, we were also neighbors. Barb did such a memorable loving gesture for me that I will always remember. On the day my husband was passing at a local hospice, my mother needed to attend the emergency room. I was unable to be at both places, Barb volunteered to assist my Mom as I went to be with my husband. She then drove my Mom to be with us at such a special time. I was so very grateful. Blessing Barb, all my Love.

I loved Barb. She was so good with patients and in later years training dogs for patients. June may your memories sustain you in the days ahead. Thinking of you in thought and prayer.

I have very fond memories of Barb as her freshman year roommate at Belford Hall at UNC. She was a prankster that year and I was the recipient of those prank often times. But we enjoyed our year together and continued to keep in contact all this time.

I worked with Barb and Penrose. She could always be counted on to bring a smile to our faces and was blessed with a wonderful sense of humor. God's peace to you all.
