Barbara Watts Obituary

Nov. 23, 1930-Mar. 25,2006. Barbara Jean Watts entered eternal life on Saturday March 25, 2006 in Colorado Springs, CO. She was born November 23, 1930 to Andrew and Anna Kosley who preceded her in death. She is survived by two of nine sisters: Emma Fuller of Colorado Springs and Loretta Molner of Ramah, CO.; three of ten brothers: Ray Kosley of Colorado Springs, CO, Jim Kosley of Pueblo CO, and Larry Kosley of Colorado Springs, CO, two daughters: Sandra Fitzpatrick of Venice, FL and Linda Hauner of Colorado Springs, CO.; two sons, William Watts of New Caney, TX and Wayne Watts of Colorado Springs, CO.; 13 grandchildren: Jon Eric, Laura, Jaclyn, Anna, Jillian, Heather, AsWey, Kyle, Amanda, Morgan, Jacob, Jarod, and Craig; and one great-grandchild, Jonathan. Barbara married Alfred E Watts on December 15, 1963 who preceded her in death. Barbara was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother who cherished every minute spent with her family and friends. She was a faithful member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post #3, Mount Calvary Lutheran Church, 8/40, and the Colorado Springs Women's Bowling Association. Barbara's dedication to her family and competitive spirit were the driving force in her life. She loved all sporting events, playing cards, gambling, and proudly watching her grandchildren compete in any event. She touched the lives of so many people and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Funeral Service, Thursday March 30,2006 l0:00 a.m. Mount Calvary Lutheran Church, 1318 N. Circle Drive, Colorado Springs, CO., Pastor Keith Knoft officiating. Memorials may be made to the Penrose Cancer Center for Research. Mail checks to 2222 N. Nevada Ave, Colorado Springs, CO 80907.
