Beatriz Oliveros Mendiola
August 2, 1943 - February 13, 2018
Beatriz Oliveros Mendiola was born on August 2, 1943 to Jose and Josefina Oliveros, and passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 surrounded by friends and beloved family.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Georgie, Mario, and Fulgencio Oliveros.
She leaves behind three sisters, Susanna Mallett, Gloria Oliveros, and Maria Culley; her husband, Jose Sumulong; two daughters, Lilibeth Serrano and Maribeth Groover, and their husbands, Estelito Serrano and Plenty Groover, Jr.; six grandchildren, Kevin, Yvonne, Krystal, Yvette, Plenty, and Kristiana; and seven great-grandchildren, Ailani, Yalicia, Caden, Abby, Mason, Kevin, and Brianne; along with a host of nieces and nephews.
She may have left the physical world, but will forever be in our hearts and minds.
Visitation, 1:00PM-3:00PM, with a Rosary at 2:00PM, Saturday, February 17, 2018 at The Springs Funeral Services-North, 6575 Oakwood Boulevard, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80923.
